Families have been offered a free day out full of activities at Nonsuch Park.
Children, cyclists and dog walkers will all be treated to special events during the awareness day between 11am and 4pm next Sunday (September 12).
Youngsters will be able to test their skills on a military obstacle course, while families can join a fitness walk, have a go at orienteering or watch T'ai Chi and BMX demonstrations.
Cyclists will get training and tours around the park, and the chance to get an MOT for their bike. Dog owners will be able to get advice on micro-chipping, healthy eating and exercise for their pets, and vets will be on hand to carry out check-ups.
Nature conservation group Nonsuch Watch will carry out a guided walk at 2.30pm.
Councillor Graham Tope, chairman of the Nonsuch joint management committee, said: “Nonsuch Park is loved by many and the awareness day is a fantastic opportunity for the whole family to celebrate its past, present and future as well as find out about the wide range of activities the park hosts throughout the year."
