Firefighters were called to a training college for disabled adults after an electrical drinks cooler overheated.
Staff at the Queen Elizabeth's Foundation Training College, in Woodlands Road, Leatherhead, dialled 999 at about 3.15pm on Tuesday.
Jackie Walford, fundraising director at the college, said the fire brigade arrived as a “precaution” and they did not need to evacuate any students.
