Children and young people from the Children’s Trust were treated to afternoon tea and Caribbean music last Sunday, thanks to Epsom Rotary Club.
The local Rotarians picked the Trust to benefit from the Kids Out day, an initiative run by Rotary clubs across the country, which provides fun for children with disabilities. The Epsom Rotary Club has supported the Trust through ‘Kids Out’ for many years, last year providing a Punch and Judy and magic show.
Children and young people from across the Children’s Trust’s services, as well as their family members and staff, thoroughly enjoyed this year’s entertainment, with music from year six pupils from Epsom Downs Junior School and Children’s Centre Steele Band, who learnt the drums at an after school club.
Rosemarie Glithero, leisure and activities co-ordinator at The Children’s Trust, said: “Thank you to Derek Hocking and members of the Epsom Rotary Club for another wonderful Kids Out day.
“It was a fun afternoon and everyone really enjoyed themselves.”
