The celebrations have begun at a children's charity in Tadworth as it marks its 30th anniversary.
The Children's Trust began celebrating its pearl anniversary on Friday, October 18 - the same date it was registered as a charity in 1983.
In that time, it has supported thousands of children with acquired brain injuries, multiple disabilities and complex health needs.
To mark the event, the trust, based in Tadworth Court, will host a number of fundraising events from now and into next year, including an anniversary ball in February.
Children and staff will also create a time capsule that will be buried in grounds of the charity's Tadworth Court headquarters, and is inviting participants in next year's London Marathon to run in support of the trust.
