A nuisance neighbour has been evicted after complaints over noise at her home.
Nicola Patterson was removed from her home in Palace Drive, Weybridge, on January 25.
Neighbours have suffered loud music, dog barking, shouting and general antisocial behaviour at the hands of Miss Patterson since 2007.
Elmbridge Council served three noise abatement notices on Miss Patterson and successfully prosecuted in 2010, but the noisy behaviour continued.
The council and Elmbridge Housing Trust then worked in partnership to gather evidence of the continuing nuisance to secure a legal warrant for possession of the property.
Head of environmental health and licensing Tony Deag said: “This case is a very serious example of what the Partnership in Noise faces and clearly demonstrates that the combined actions of both parties working together can successfully tackle the most persistent noise offenders.”
Visit elmbridge.gov.uk/noise if you are affected by noise.
