Millionaire advises at Elmbridge Women in Business event

Female professionals have been invited to attend a business advice evening in Weybridge, on Thursday, September 16.

The event, organised by Elmbridge Women in Business, includes a chance to network and a session with a panel of local business experts who will be giving free sales, marketing and general business advice.

Panel members include Emma Wimhurst, a self-made millionaire and business coach, and Amanda Fisackerly, a sales, marketing and business operations consultant.

Sandy Scott. chairman of Elmbridge Women in Business, said the group was trying to attract new members from further afield, as well as younger and older members.

She said: “A lot of the members of the group have learnt the hard way how to survive as women in the corporate world.

“This is a great opportunity for younger people to come and ask people for advice in a safe, confidential environment.

“Young people coming also will have fresh ideas that they can share.”

The night takes place at the Ship Hotel in the High Street from 6.30pm, when there will be a buffet supper and tickets cost £25, or £10 for members.
