One of Britain's most treasured restaurant chains has opened a new site in Cobham, aiming to offer ‘a friendly and neighbourly environment with accessible, all-day dining for those living, working and shopping in the area’.
The Ivy Cobham Brasserie in High Street is open seven days a week, with an all-day menu including breakfast, elevenses, lunch, light snacks, afternoon tea, dinner, cocktails and weekend brunch.
Critically acclaimed Martin Brudnizki Design Studio consulted on the interiors, which comprise antique mirrors and chandeliers, pendant lighting, marble floor tiles and an Arancia onyx bar.
There are 180 covers across the main restaurant, bar, orangerie, garden and semi-private mezzanine area.
The Cobham restaurant opening coincides with the famous Covent Garden restaurant's centenary. It is one of seven Ivy Grill or Brasserie restaurants now open nationwide, with future restaurants soon to open in Marlow, Bath, Tower Bridge, the City and Edinburgh.
Ivy Cafes opened in Richmond in April this year and in Wimbledon Village last June.
