Two horses clad in blankets caused traffic chaos on the A3 this morning after escaping from their enclosures.
Surrey Police officers were called to the roundabout at Oxshott, which connects Copsem Lane to the A3, at 6.10am to reports of a horse in a red blanket and another in blue running loose at the junction.
Officers closed the road at 6.37am and rounded up the horses shortly after.
Traffic is curently blocked on #A3 N/B between the A244+A309 nr #LongDitton while @SurreyRoadCops work to remove horses frm the carriageway

Surrey Police officers are thought to have reunited the animals with the owner at about 8.30am.
