Burglars stole a "large quantity" of rare vintage jukeboxes - worth up to £20,000 each - from a Weybridge shop.

The total worth of the pieces, stolen from The Games Room in Hamm Moor Lane, is in the hundreds of thousands of pounds, Surrey Police said.

Burglars broke in during a "thoroughly researched" raid between 5pm on Sunday, August 28, and 8am on Monday, August 29.

PC Matt Ladd said: "Our enquiries so far have led us to believe that this was a thoroughly researched and pre-planned job and we are very keen to speak to anybody who saw anything or who has heard conversations around this incident or something similar to get in contact immediately.

"The items taken in the burglary are extremely distinctive and all have unique serial numbers, and therefore are easily recognisable.

"One of which, being a first edition ‘Beatles Jukebox' which is the first of its kind, valued over £20,000.

"If you see any of the items in the pictures on sites like eBay or Gumtree or know of someone selling ones that resemble those in the pictures online, at carboot sales or at vintage fairs or elsewhere, then I would sincerely urge you to contact us on 101 quoting 45160075295.

"We desperately want to reunite these valuable items with their rightful owner as soon as possible.”
