Despite predicting muggy maximum temperatures of 22 degrees Celsius, forecasters at the Met Office expect brighter spells to remain limited and Monday to be a dull day with light rain and drizzle.
Moving into this evening, bedsheets look set to become drenched with sweat as the cloudy humidity lingers, with temperatures of 17 degrees some mist and fog also developing in places.
