A husband charged with murdering his wife in their newly-built home in Weybridge has appeared in court.

Sanjay Nijhawan, 46, is accused of murdering his 38-year-old wife, Sonita, after her body was found in their mansion in Crossfield Place near St George’s Hill, along with a 46-year-old who was suffering “serious” injuries on May 21.
A post-mortem examination found she had died from neck injuries.
Mr Nijhawan appeared at Guildford Crown Court on Friday, where a further plea and trial preparation hearing was arranged for September 19.
