A serious fire “completely destroyed” the entire first floor of a guesthouse in Cobham.
Firefighters from Esher, Painshill, Epsom, Leatherhead and Guildford tackled the blaze in Pony Chase in Fairmile at 1.45pm on Saturday, June 25.
A spokesman from Surrey Fire and Rescue said a bedroom on the first floor of the house, and a garage below, were “completely destroyed” but added that no one was hurt.
Firefighters used 12 breathing apparatus and 3 hose reels to douse the flames, and left at about 4.15pm.
