Police want to speak to a man with Surrey connections after a woman was attacked with a bike lock in an attempted robbery in Westminster.
The woman is said to have been using her phone and walking along Ecclestone Road, SW1, when she was attacked from behind as a man tried to put a bike lock around her neck on November 12 at about 1.30am.
The man ran away when she fought off the attack.
Metropolitan Police want to speak to Aaron Sinclair, 25, who is from Scotland but has links to London, Surrey and Hampshire.
Police have warned the public to call 999 if Sinclair is spotted, and to call 020 7321 7620 or 101 if anyone has information on his whereabouts.
Information can also be given to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
