Grants of up to £1,500 are being offered to individuals, organisations and groups to fund projects that improve community wellbeing.

Healthwatch Surrey, the consumer champion for health and social care in Surrey has launched the Community Cash Fund to invest in small grassroots projects that hope to improve the wellbeing of individuals in local communities.

The group is particularly interested in requests that support projects that help hard to reach and seldom heard groups.

Interested groups or individuals should complete a short application form before October 23 and will hear within two weeks whether they have been successful.

For more information on the criteria for the projects and to apply, visit health watchsurrey.co.uk/community-cash-fund.
