A West Molesey house has been boarded up after visitors blighted neighbours’ lives with rowdy arguments and constant drunkenness.
Surrey Police managed to get a closure order on 20 Ray Road after numerous reports of nuisances, fights and noisiness.
But a lifeline condition allowing only the tenant and her father in the home made by Staines magistrates’ last month, has been broken.
Visitors have continued to disrupt the residential street, with the tenant said to be shouting out of the window at young children, according to a Surrey Police spokesman.
The house has now been boarded up after the notice came into effect on Monday, August 17. It will be sealed for three months.
Sgt Pete Bazley said: “The purpose of the order is not only to help the local community affected by the persistent anti-social behaviour but to send out the message that such activities will not be tolerated by Surrey Police who are committed to keeping Surrey a pleasant place in which to live and work.”
Housing association A2Dominion is hoping to repossess the property.
