A man sought out by a helicopter in West Molesey has appeared in court charged with multiple offences including criminal damage and harassment.
Sam Edwards, 26, of no fixed address, was arrested in Avern Gardens. A Surrey Police spokesman said: “A number of officers, assisted by the police helicopter, carried out an extensive search of the area and a man was arrested on suspicion of a number of offences and taken into custody.”
Mr Edwards was charged with criminal damage, theft or motor vehicle, harassment, possession of a suspected class B drug and two driving offences, and kept in custody.
He appeared at Guildford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, August 6, and will next appear at Guildford Crown Court on August 20.
