A 22-year-old has been banned from entering a Walton street for two years.

Zac Alexander, of Cottimore Lane, is not allowed to enter Latton Close - a 30 minute walk from his home.

Alexander was given a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) at Staines Magistrates' Court on July 22, after a series of common assaults and public order offences. The order will last for two years.

Inspector Sarah Milligan, from the Elmbridge safer neighbourhood team, said: "This type of behaviour is something we will not tolerate as it has no place in our society.

"Throughout the last few months we have worked hard with other agencies to put in place support mechanisms.

"However, it became apparent that the assistance being offered was either being abused or not being taken up.

"We were left with no other option but to use anti-social behaviour and criminal legislation."

If Alexander is seen breaching any of his CBO conditions contact Surrey Police by calling 101, or report it online at surrey.police.uk.

The conditions of the CBO prohibit Alexander from:

  • Behaving in a manner or inciting others to behave in a manner either verbally or physically in any public place which causes or is likely to cause alarm, harassment or distress to any person in the borough
  • Entering Latton Close, Walton at any time.
