A man has been arrested following the death of a cyclist yesterday after a collision between a van, a car and a tanker.
Surrey Police confirmed a 34-year-old man from Walton had been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and driving with no insurance.
The cyclist, a woman in her 50s, was pronounced dead at the scene near the junction of Rydens Road.
The driver of the van, a man, was taken to St George's Hospital, Tooting, with serious injuries, after being cut out of the van by firefighters.
