A "troublesome" family who generated persistent noise and domestic incidents have been banned from returning to their previous home.

Paragon Housing obtained a possession order for 43 Monument Road, Weybridge, at North Surrey Magistrates' Court on May 7.

The property was closed down by Surrey Police under the Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 on December 3, last year.

Neighbours suffered parties, drug use and dogs barking, in addition to the property being kept in an untidy state, with a settee and rubbish in the front garden.

Police Constable Andy Kim said: "This is a great outcome for the residents of Monument Road who suffered at the hands of the tenants of number 43. This has been one of the worst cases of antisocial behaviour we have had to deal with and shows that Surrey Police in partnership with Housing Associations will not tolerate this kind of behaviour and will take strong and robust action."

Anyone who has information on antisocial behaviour in their area should contact Surrey Police Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101.
