Philip Hammond has been re-elected as MP for Runnymede and Weybridge with a majority of more than 22,000 votes.

Mr Hammond, who was first elected in 1997, received 29,992 votes, with Labour coming a distant second with 7,757. 

UKIP came in third place with 6,951 votes while the Liberal Democrats received 3,362 votes, slipping into fourth place. 

The Green Party placed in fifth position with 2,071 votes.
