Surrey Police: Looking for witnesses
A pedestrian hit by car was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after the woman, thought to be in her early 20s, was struck by a blue Ford Focus in the evening of Wednesday, April 15.
New Zealand Avenue, Walton, was closed in both direction while emergency services dealt with the incident which happened in the Bridge Street junction just before 6pm.
A police spokesman said: "The woman has been taken to St George's Hospital with serious injuries."
