Skin queen: Equipment could be dangerous

Dr Natalie Blakely arrived at the Light Touch Clinic on Monday morning to find her Weybridge clinic trashed, cupboards empty, large machines and creams gone and papers everywhere.

It is thought the break in and theft happened on Sunday, April 12, between 9pm and 7am, with forced entry made through the back door.

She is concerned some of the creams and serums could be dangerous if used without medical advice.

Most of the electronic items were taken including iPads, lighting, televisions and machines which need specialist training to use.

Dr Blakely, an award winning doctor sometimes referred to as the 'skin queen', has made a plea to the people who have taken the equipment.

She said: "You have taken niche medical equipment, in the wrong hands it's dangerous, useless to anyone.

"Happy to let you keep everything you can sell but please return the equipment around the back of my clinic with no questions asked."

Staff rallied together, with some even coming in on their day off, to help get the clinic up and running by noon.

Dr Blakely has since decided to offer a reward for any information about the whereabouts of the machines, although the exact amount is not certain yet.

Detective Constable Heather Francis said: "We are still in the early stages of the investigation into this burglary and officer are working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

"This is a significant loss for a business, both in terms of the valuable equipment and stock which was stolen and the potential impact on further earnings."
