A college is holding its annual breakfast promoting the benefits of apprenticeships.

The Apprenticeship Business Breakfast, held by Brooklands College, invites local employers to find out about available opportunities.

A college spokesman said: "It has been proved that apprentices are good for business and research has shown that companies who employ apprentices benefit from higher productivity, reduced staff turnover, support with recruitment, a cost effective method of filling skills gaps and of course the opportunity of taking advantage of the free government funded training."

Employers will be treated to a breakfast prepared by the college’s catering students and can speak to apprentices and current employers.

The event will be held at Brooklands College Weybridge Campus on Wednesday, March 11, from 7.30am.
