An MP downed tools and joined a group of students for a kick about.
Esher and Walton MP Dominic Raab watched Claygate Primary School pupils take part in an FA Skills session.
Mr Raab surprised year five students on Friday, December 5 and said: "This is a terrific project to encourage young boys and girls to enjoy football, develop skills and engage in teamwork."
The free for Primary Schools scheme for five to 11-year-olds is funded by The FA and Sport England and employs 158 full-time coaches, including three in Surrey.
