Thirteen people have joined Sunrise of Weybridge to develop their understanding of dementia to dispel myths about the condition.
Local dementia friends champion Margaret Dangoor delivered a dementia friends session, explaining what people can do to assist those with memory loss.
After the session, the Swingtime Sweethearts joined guests and residents for a sing-song, belting out 40s classics.
Nicki Mercer, community relations associate, said: "It was a wonderful atmosphere and we were delighted so many people could join us.
"More and more people are living with dementia and at Sunrise we support them every day - it was great to be able to share our expertise with people from the local area".
