Two cars have crashed on the M25 causing delays and two lane closures, according to the Highways Agency.

The car crash happened at 11.04am on the anticlockwise carriageway between Junction 9, at Leatherhead, and Junction 8 at Reigate.

At noon a Highways Agency spokesman said emergency services had been called out and there were delays of up to 30 minutes. All lanes have now reopened.

A police spokesman said: "Surrey Police was called to the M25 at Leatherhead at 11.04am today following reports of a two-vehicle collision.

"Surrey Fire and Rescue Service and the South East Coast Ambulance Service also attended."

A traffic alert said that a car struck the central reservation a mile and a half before Junction 8.
