Princess Alice Hospice nurses have been recognised in this year's Nursing Times awards.
These national awards celebrate those people who make an outstanding contribution to their work as nurses.
The Princess Alice Hospice, Esher, night nursing team reached the finals of the team of the year category at the event at Grosvenor house Hotel, London.
Lesley Spencer, director of patient care and strategic development at the hospice, said: “There were 200 entries in this category and just eight finalists, so to be one of the finalists was a fantastic achievement.
“It is a testament both to the skills of the individuals within the teams delivering the care ad to the management and leadership support around them.
“It’s great for the team to received the external recognition that they deserve.”
