Usual things to pack for going to a gym class are a mat, bottle of water and... a pumpkin?

Bring a pumpkin from home as a weight, and get stuck into a class will sculpt and tone, with a seasonal twist.

Pursuit Fitness is running a spooktacular charity workout in Esher on November 1.

The free event is at Claygate Village Hall at 10am, and is open to people of all fitness abilities.

Chris Wright, owner of Pursuit Fitness Training, said: "All you have to do is bring a pumpkin which will be used for some of the exercises and wear a suitably scary outfit that you can exercise in."

Any donations raised by the class, will be sent to White Lodge Centre, Chertsey, which supports disabled people of all ages.
