A motorbike lover was sent off in style as about 200 riders escorted the hearse to the cemetery.
Part of the American Motorcycle Owner Club for 15 years, Sharon Howard, 56, recently lost her battle with cancer.
The club, that has just celebrated its 20th anniversary, decided to carry out a funeral parade from the home she lived in for 30 years in Faraday Road, West Molesey, to Randalls Park Cemetery, Leatherhead, on Friday, October 3.
Her daughter, Jenny Howard, 27, who rode on the back of her late mother’s Harley Davidson, said: “It was amazing as they moved down the road, I was just in awe of all the people who turned up.
“It was much bigger than I was expecting. [Her mother] She would have been shocked, but she would have been laughing.”
