Recording studios, practice rooms and three classrooms are part of a new music building taking lessons to a high-tech level.
The new music building at Esher College, Thames Ditton, was officially opening on September 18, after a successful bid won a grant of £1.5m for improvements.
Students performed at the opening, including Rebecca Lacey, an A/S music student, who sang a range of West End classics, and Alex Lore, a second-year music student, who sang some of his own songs and played the guitar.
Principal of the college Dan Dean said: "We are delighted and thrilled to be able to offer such high-tech, specialist facilities to our students."
