Pupils of an Esher stage school were presented with graduation certificates after an end of term production.

EastEnders actress Charlie Brooks and stage school manager Mark Jermin commended members of the Mark Jermin School after their performance of their own version of Our Day Out on Saturday, July 19.

The play, written by Willy Russell, was first aired on UK television in 1977 and all members of the stage school took part in the production by singing, dancing, acting or reading a poem.

Some pupils also won awards for making progress in building their confidence.
