Two teenagers were arrested after a car crashed into a lamppost and flipped on to its roof in a residential street in Walton.
Police were called to Rydens Road at about 5.15am on Sunday, July 20, after a blue Ford Ka ended up on its roof after hitting a lamppost.
The lamppost was ripped from the ground in the impact of the crash.
South East Coast Ambulance Service treated the driver and passenger of the car at the scene and they were taken to St Peter’s Hospital, Chertsey, as a precaution.
A 16-year-old boy from West Molesey was arrested on suspicion of aggrevated taking of a motor vehicle without consent and driving without a licence and insurance.
A 14-year-old girl, also from West Molesey, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated taking of a motor vehicle without consent.
Both teenagers were released on bail until September 17.
