Police have released images of three men they want to speak to in connection with a robbery in East Molesey in February.

A man was robbed of his mobile phone in the robbery between 10.30pm and 11pm on Friday, February 28.

Two men came at him from the direction of Wolsey Road and exchanged words opposite the Albion pub, before one of them grabbed the phone and ran down Palace Road, followed by another man who came out of the pub.

The remaining man then pushed the victim and asked him for his credit card before the victim and his friend ran away down Bridge Road.

The first suspect was black, aged about 17, with a swept back afro-style hairstyle.

He about 6ft, slim and was wearing a dark jacket and jeans and carrying a drawstring JD Sports bag.

The second was an Asian man, the same age, height and build.

He was wearing a blue hooded top with the hood up and a dark coloured tracksuit.

The third man was black or Asian, with short dark hair, about 5ft 7in and aged about 16.

He was wearing black and white striped pyjama-style trousers tucked into socks and a black jacket.

Investigating officer PC Lorraine Patter said: “We are now able to release images of two men who we believe were in the area at the time of the robbery and who may hold vital information on this incident.

“If you recognise any of the men please contact us as a matter of urgency as we need to find those responsible for this robbery and bring them to justice.

“The robbery took place at quite a busy time of night near a pub and I feel sure that someone may have seen or heard something out of the ordinary.

“I am also keen to speak to anyone who saw where the men went immediately after the robbery.”
