Re-elected Liberal Democrat MP Edward Davey is keeping quiet about his thoughts on the possibility of him serving in a David Cameron led government, as negotiations between the parties continue.
The MP attacked Tory plans for “tax cuts for millionaires” during his successful re-election campaign and accused both the Conservatives and Labour party of “dishonesty of the worst kind” over immigration.
But as the spokesman for foreign affairs for the party, he could be in with a chance of gaining a place in the cabinet today.
But Liberal Democrat supporter Leslie Jones, who lives in Surbiton, said: “Remember that the main point in every election flyer from the Lib Dem's was ’Labour cannot win here’.
“Many voters like me who voted for Edward Davey didn't do so that he might serve in a Government led by David Cameron.”
