Trolley dash for lucky penny saving shopper

A new 99p Store opening in Croydon is seeking a VIP for a 99-second trolley dash.
To celebrate the opening of the value brand's new store, bosses are seeking a 'Very Important Pennysaver,' who will be invited to officially open the branch, as well as performing the frantic dash.
The 99p Stores boss Hussein Lalani, has promised to double any haul which beats the current world record 99-second dash of 265 single items, achieved three years ago by a mother-of-two from Southampton.
The store on Crown Hill, will open on January 28, and is creating 35 new jobs. It will be Croydon's third store, making the borough the 99p capital of the UK, with more stores than any other area.
Mr Lalani said: "Congratulations Croydon, people in the town know a bargain and value when they see it. We initially conducted research when we first started expanding in the town and discovered Croydon people know a bargain better than anyone."

Was wondering what it is gonna be...surprise surprise, another 99p store - can't wait to go shopping like mad there...not :( shame, the whole croydon town centre exists of the following: Betting shops, Nail Studios, crappy chicken shops, pound shops...
