The waiting is over for the finalists in the first South London Business Awards.
At a ceremony at Crystal Palace Football Club last night, the winners in the eight award categories were announced.
Chairman of the judges, Phil Walker, of the Royal Bank of Scotland, said: "Business enterprise and dynamic entrepreneurship are the themes that epitomise the achievements of our winners.
"I have been exceptionally pleased with our first year's crop, which represents the cream of South London businesses, and are our future ambassadors for local business achievement.
"The quality of all our finalists will set the benchmark as the highest achievers in the region."
Mr Walker said one of the highlights of the awards was the diverse range of industries represented.
