Three car collision causing severe delays on A3
A three car collision is causing severe delays on the A3 this morning.
One lane is closed Southbound between the A243 Hook Road / A309 Hook Rise North and A244 Copsem Lane due to the crash and subsequent recovery work.
There is congestion along the A3 Malden Way to A2043 Malden Road / Bodley Road. Travel time is currently more than 40 minutes.
Earlier, traffic was being held just before the Esher exit, however, from 7.15am vehicles were able to pass in lanes one and two.
Lane three remains closed as one of the vehicles awaits recovery and queues are backing up past Malden.
