A parade of more than 1,000 scouts marked St George’s Day.
The Royal Kingston Scout District’s annual parade brought traffic to a standstill in Tolworth as scouts and leaders marched through the streets.
The parade paused at Our Lady Immaculate Church to remember St George, and for the boys to renew their Scout Promise, on April 22.
Groups also competed for the Bridger Family Trophy, aimed at encouraging high standards of smartness and turnout at the parade, which was awarded to 2nd Norbiton.
