A £15m family mansion situated high on St George’s Hill in Weybridge has become developer Consero’s 100th home sold.

Treetops house has a private view toward the private estate’s golf course, as well as views of the Surrey Hills.

It is almost a century since the private estate first appealed to the rich and famous from around the world.

Current residents include Dragons’ Den judge Theo Paphitis and actress Shilpa Shetty and it was also once the home of Beatles legends John Lennon and Ringo Starr.

Developer said Treetops, which took three years to build, was a “creation of art” and they had paid strict attention to every detail while constructing and designing the house.

It was sold for just under £15m within weeks of its completion this year.

One of the architects, Rob Osborne, said: “This was a magnificent house to work on and we were all delighted with the overall finish.

“It was a home that I could create using many ideas that I had seen or thought of and filed away for future use. We have had wonderful comments about it and I think it showcases exactly how good we are as a team.”

The house has a cream exterior, while its black front door was made by the designers of Elton John’s glass piano and the iconic door at Downing Street.

Car makers Jaguar also obtained licence to do the kitchen’s design, which also has facilities that can be used as a catering kitchen for entertaining.

Custom made materials came from all over the world to create the luxury four floored family house, which has an indoor swimming pool, a gym, a cinema and even its own wine bar.
