Green Guardian winner Transition Town Kingston has secured a grant to recruit its first paid-for post.
The voluntary environmental organisation successfully bid for a grass roots grant from Thames Community Foundation.
The part-time contract, worth £4,137, is for an operations and volunteer support coordinator.
