A father and son from Cobham have drowned while on holiday in Spain.
Jonathan James Wells, 45, and his father Robert Clifford Wells, 75, died in Almunecar, in the southern province of Granada in Andalusia, at about 4pm yesterday.
Eye-witnesses said James Wells was trying to rescue his father after he got into trouble in giant waves.
A spokesman for the Foreign Office said: "Next of kin are aware and we are providing consular assistance to the family."
