A Cobham restaurant will be turning up the heat with a Taste of Chilli dinner and quiz held on Thursday, September 23.

The night held at Massala restaurant, Anyards Road, Cobham, in collaboration with the Curry Club founder Pat Chapman will offer diners a set menu of dishes ranging from slight heat to the devilishly spicy lamb Khade Masale Ka Gost.

Mr Chapman said: “I’m not just a curryholic, I’m a chillihead. I just love hot food so I’m really looking forward to Massala’s Chilli Dinner. The hotter the better.”

The set menu is priced at £24.95 and is cooked by chefs Sunil Sinha and Pradeep Asawa, who cooked for Prince Charles during a 1992 state tour of India.

The menu includes a chilli cocktail and chilli chocolate taster with a non-chilli menu on offer for those who cannot stand the heat. To make a reservation please call Massala on 01932 865005.
