Your chance to view couple’s high-profile garden in Surbiton

A Surbiton couple's garden, which has been enjoying the national media spotlight, will open to the public this Sunday as part of the National Garden Scheme.

Tim and Julia Leunig are the proud owners of a T-shaped lawn and patio arrangement surrounded by cannas, lavander, cistus, roses and ginger.

Their garden also boasts a natural wooded area under copper beech trees, and a stream and waterfall adorned by bamboo, eucalyptus and tree fern.

Their garden has already found fame, after featuring in the Financial Times, the Mirror and the BBC magazine, Easy Gardening.

National Garden Scheme is expected to raise an estimated £1.75million this year, mostly for cancer care.

For a viewing, visit 52A Berrylands Road, Surbiton, between 2pm and 5.30pm.
