Are you creative? Good at suggesting names? Then St James Homes needs your help in naming the new public park at The Hamptons, Worcester Park.

The Hamptons has already changed the face of Worcester Park and when the development is complete, it will provide 498 new homes in five carefully crafted neighbourhoods, whose styles include New England and traditional Norfolk architecture.

The competition is open to everyone, including children, and the winner will be awarded a cash prize of £500 and invited to attend the official public opening of the park at the end of July.

The winning parkland name will also appear on a plaque at the front of the Maple Lodge community hall. Send your suggested road name and the reason for your choice on a postcard to The Hamptons competition, Surrey Comet, Newspaper House, 34-44 London Road, Morden SM4 5BX.

The closing date for entries is 10am on May 26.
