Heavy snow is being forecast tonight in south east England with predictions of up to 10cm in some places disrupting roads and rail.
The Met Office issued a severe weather warning this morning for parts of east and southeastern England during Thursday evening and Friday with up to 10cm of snow in some places and up to 20cm on hills.
Snow started to fall yesterday in South London but did not settle.
Kingston Council has said it is ready for heavy snow and Transport for London has said it has enough grit to withstand six days of continuous heavy snowfall.
February's heavy snowfall closed every school in the borough, prevented collections of waste and recycling and limited the meals on wheels service.
New Malden fire station was put out of action after snow prevented two of the five firefighters getting to work.
