Cobham jewellers raided

Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses following a smash and grab burglary at a jewellers in Cobham on Monday afternoon.

The incident took place at about 3.15pm at Gordon Marks jewellers in Cobham High Street, when three men with their faces covered approached the front of the shop and used a sledgehammer to smash a front display window.

They took a number of items, although the total value of jewellery taken has yet to be determined.

They then got into a black BMW and left the scene.

Detectives from Surrey Police are now carrying out an investigation into the burglary.
