Lower Mole countryside volunteers improving Oxshott woods

The Lower Mole Countryside Management Project volunteers will meeting at 10am on Tuesday, November 17, to Thursday November 19, to carry out road side management and coppice restoration in Oxshott.

The work will be happening at Watercut Copse, the new name for an old work site at the end of Hawkhurst, off Somerville Road.

The work will increase the habitat for herbs and insects, as well as improving the sight lines for users of the path.

A lockable barrier will also be installed to prevent unauthorised access by vehicles, which would be possible once the path sides have been opened up.

All volunteers are welcome and should bring their own tools and lunch.

For more information call 01372 743783.
