A unique X Factor T-shirt, signed by the 2008 finalists, including the winner Alexandra Burke, is being auctioned on eBay by nine Walton mothers to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

The T-shirt is also signed by other X Factor favourites such as JLS, Diana Vickers, Ruth Lorenzo and Eoghan Quigg.

Fundraiser Nancy Scott said: “It is a one of a kind item, completely unique and genuine. One hundred per cent of the sale price will go to Cancer Research UK.”

Ms Scott, along with eight other Walton mothers, formed a fundraising committee for Cancer Research UK in 2008, after losing a friend to the disease. They launched the committee in June this year with the Little Legs for Life race, a fundraising race for children, which has now raised more than £14,000 for the charity.

Bidding for the T-shirt ends at 9pm on Sunday, August 16, so to be within a chance of owning this unique shirt, visit the Walton Cancer Research website at crukwalton.org, and follow the link to the auction site.

At time of going to press, bidding had reached £52 , but the reserve has not yet been met.
