Kingston CID are investigating a serious assault of a 20-year-old at a party on a riverboat in the early hours of Sunday, July 5.
The man sustained serious head injuries in the assault on the boat and police have issued an appeal for witnesses.
Detective Sergeant Charlie Morrow said: “Any alcohol fuelled assault in Kingston is treated seriously, however the danger of the river should not be underestimated and as this incident occurred at a boat party the potential for a more serious incident was heightened.”
