Beavers and scouts from Chessington were joined by Kingston’s road safety mascot Debra the Zebra to launch a series of family walks last weekend.
Kingston Council and Kingston Primary Care Trust have developed four self-guided walks around Chessington as part of the Walking for Health campaign, which aims to get families out and about in the borough.
Amelia Strudwick, parent and Chessington beaver leader, said “The beavers enjoyed spotting things that they don’t normally notice - everyone should try one of the local walks.”
